Riddingtons Payroll identifies the necessity to be an ethical and conscientious business and actively welcomes the provisions set out in the Modern Slavery Act 2015. Riddingtons Payroll is committed to ongoing tax compliance as well as compliance with legal matters; whilst operating in good faith with other parties in the supply chains in which it operates.
Riddingtons Payroll specifically seeks to address the need to comply with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 (MSA), and endeavour to ensure that supply chains are completely free from human trafficking and people working in conditions equivalent to slavery in the modern era. This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of UK MSA 2015 for the financial year 2021-22.
To maintain legal compliance, Riddingtons Payroll only use clients and suppliers whose operations are ethical and who are committed to performing ongoing compliance checks to ensure that they themselves are keeping to applicable laws and regulations.
Riddingtons Payroll adopts a risk-based approach relating to the assessment of its business and its supply chains to identify areas of supply that may represent a higher risk. Any policy changes that occur as a result of this approach will be applied to the whole business.
After an internal review, paying particular consideration to Section 54 “Transparency in Supply Chains” of the Modern Slavery Act 2015; Riddingtons Payroll have concluded that the services The Company provides are not likely to be affected by slavery, as are the supply chains of those we use for the purchase of products or services from local businesses.
As a result, it has been deemed not necessary for Riddingtons Payroll to take any further detailed action in respect of this legislation other than raise awareness of the Act with our employees.
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31 May 2023.
